White Mezuzah

Showing all 6 resultsSorted by popularity

A white mezuzah blends into a light doorframe or stands quietly against a dark one. These cases are carved from naturally pale Jerusalem stone, so the white is in the material itself, not a paint that will chip. Choose between the chalky natural white of Kotel stone, the fine open grain of white travertine, a smooth cream stone with a gold Shin, or a white case with a Shin built up from the surface. Each is made by hand in Jerusalem, in five chamber sizes, and mounts with the adhesive supplied. A scroll (klaf) can be added on the product page.

Three white stones, compared

Kotel white is chalky and matte, the stone of the city's old walls. White travertine has a fine, open grain that catches light. Cream stone is smooth and warm, and pairs well with a gold Shin. All three are Jerusalem stone, pale by nature.

On a light or a dark door

On a white or pale wood frame a white case blends in and reads as part of the door. On a dark door it stands out as a clear, quiet accent. Either way, the color is the stone itself and will not chip like paint.
